The National Landowners Federation forcefully defends the rights of America’s landowners. 

 

The vast and diverse lands of this country feed the world, power the world, and are home to the greatest democracy in the world. A commitment to land ownership within our capitalist economic system is the greatest financial commitment a person can make to this country, a commitment that is a representation of a belief in our future, our freedoms, and our way of life. But each of these is under constant threat.

 

NLF works to guarantee the opportunity to invest in this country, and to protect that investment and the prosperity we seek. We work to guarantee opportunity for the next generations to harvest the land and it’s resources and to continue building our economic future. We work to ensure that the rights of landowners are protected from those who would change our way of life, and devalue the property we have worked so fiercely to preserve. 

 

Our great country was founded to ensure that every person’s inalienable rights to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness“ are preserved. The National Landowners Federation was founded to protect the property rights that make each of these possible. 

 

Today, bureaucrats and politicians see private land ownership as a threat, or a source of endlessly increasing tax collections to fund their social agenda. When our livelihoods, our freedom, and our ability to provide for our families‘ happiness is placed at risk by overreaching regulation and unreasonable restrictions, NLF is on hand to speak for landowners and for their economic opportunities. 

 

NLF’s work is important to all landowners, large or small, urban or rural, industrial or agricultural, homeowner or business owner. Every landowner has an interest in protecting the sanctity of private property rights. And that’s why NLF speaks for them.
